For those whose favorite parts of "The Office" (UK version) included the moments in which David Brent attempted to showcase his musical talent, a link to the pre-Office musical career of actor Ricky Gervais, who played the smarmy, clueless office manager Brent. Some truly astounding facts and photos here. I assume it's all true, as Gervais' desire to be a recording artist is certainly well known. But if it's a hoax, it's still rather entertaining.
