A modern-day Teapot Dome

Are they really calling it coingate? Must every scandal end with the dreaded "-gate" suffix? Does this mean that public utility commissioners are free to use the local water works to provide kickbacks and synecures, if only because there would be no way to describe the scandal? There has to be some word in the numismatic lexicon out there to better describe this. Right? Even if it's not as good as Teapot Dome.

Anyway, for those of you who also concern yourselves with the substance of the scandal, which bears a passing resemblance to Teapot Dome, I'd like to refer you to the website of the Toledo Blade, a newspaper which has been kicking ass and taking names ever since breaking the story back in April. The Blade has been kind enough to bring all of its articles together in one place, for your edification.
