His generous take on human nature and carefully dosed slapstick bring to mind the best stuff of Bill Murray, Woody Allen and Preston Sturges. It's nice to have a guy who knows that the funniest parts aren't mean or manic, but happen when people are just being themselves.

Even if it took 7 years since Freaks and Geeks/Undeclared for this guy to be recognized, I'm cool with that.
I cried like a little girl when both shows were taken off the air--almost as many tears as when My So-Called Life was too.
oh. a freaks and geeks marathon just became my weekend. thanks, meg. as usual.
p.s. your hair smells like oranges.
i have that shirt. but nothing constructive to bring to the conversation. just sayin'.
dmbm: Undeclared is wonderful...
blythe: Your hair smells like onions.
butters: That's okay. This post wasn't constructive. Saying Judd Apatow is funny is like saying ice cream tastes good. I just wanted to say something nice in case some Samberg-lover commented about what a hater I am, etc. Then I could say, "See? Not a hater. I like Judd Apatow."
this is one funny ass fella.
i love freaks and geeks.
